The three canes represent the shepherds of leadership, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The Key of Jerusalem represents brotherhood, friendship, and trust. The first rotation of the key will last a year, each group holds the key for a year starting with Judaism, then Christianity and then Islam. The second rotation is for two years, third for three and the fourth for four, carrying on in a four year rotational cycle. During each group's time with the Key, they are responsible for maintaining peace, humanity and security throughout the world. The Key is the relationship of trusting each other. |
